There was an extremely cool sunset tonight, this is only part of it. I took a ton of pictures but am to tired to post any more of them tonight.

My new baby, 8-31-05

Just gave birth to a brand new 1986 saab 900s(well new to me, heh),I got a really good deal on this due to a couple of good firends (Sally and Harv) thanks guys. The inside looks as good as the outside, this car was extremely well maintained. They busted their asses to make sure I got this car and I just wanted to thank them.

**More good news**
I have a buddy that lives down in louisiana and i just found out that he's still alive and kickin, glad to hear it man. That's all i'm gonna say about Katrina.

Neat Mushrooms, 8-29-05

A friend led me to these, they were right off the road to the hatchery where we eat lunch on Ft Rich. In the bizillion mushrooms I have seen over the last few months I have never seen these, especially so many growing out of a tree like that. Pretty neat.

I was wandering thru the woods lookin for shrooms at lunch and I ran into these guys. They were surprised at first but relaxed quite a bit after i stood there for a few, another 10 minutes later and they acted like i wasn't even there. Mamma and 2 babies :)

More from Friday in the woods, I love hunting for mushrooms. I am now in the process of learning all the dif names and types. Identifying them is a heavy job hehe.

A fun saturday, 8-27-05

There are flowers planted everywhere around Loussac, we spent about 2 hours playing in the grass and hanging out around the flowers (showing the boy that bees aren't really bad at all) He even worked up the bravery to pet them on the back,you can do that when they are involved in getting pollen.. they don't pay attention to much else.

A fun saturday, 8-27-05

We started the day off by getting our hair cut, he did not wanna go at first... after about 20 minutes of whining he walked out very happy he had. We went to Carls Jr (burger place) as a treat for being good while he got his hair cut. After that we went to see The Brothers Grimm, it was ok i give it about 2 1/2 maybe 3 stars. Right across the street from the theater is the Anchorage public library (Z. J. Loussac Public Library) "Pronounced lou-sac", We walked over and got fletcher a library card.

We stopped to watch the sunset on the way home from pizza hut, we only caught the tail end of it but it was worth it.

This is Fletcher's favorite pizza place on the planet, always has a cheese pizza (cut up). Anyways, the toy that came with his meal was actually a really good toy. It was a piece of non stick goo that had a bunch of parts and pieces you could stick on and make different monsters out of, slap creativity with imagination in a cheap toy i thought it was kinda cool.
