Frost.
It's been seriously cold the last couple weeks so every time there's a bit of fog the tree's build up with more frost. Untill today there's been pretty much no real sun so the frost had just gotten thicker. Not that i'm complaining, we didn't get any real snow till almost november this year. Hell, I have only had to shovel twice ;)

Hey, aren't you watching the superbowl? :P
We're watching it here with a couple of friends, lol! Anything is possible with the internet, and if you got a beamer (turned our wall into a mega-widescreen, woohoo!) it gets even better :D
The only disadvantages are the German commentaries and the fact that it's 2.20 am here at the moment, gonna be a long night...
On the subject of your new pic, I like the contrast with the sky in the background. That's an impressive layer of frost on those branches!
It must be hell having to drive in this kind of weather, snow and ice... Then again, you're probably used to it by now, ghehehe.
Well, back to the second half and the beer ;-)
Cheers!
Woah, and I was supporting the winning team for a change ^^,
Hah, nah I don't watch the superbowl... actually i don't think i have ever seen one, omg yea it's true ima nerd. As for driving on this stuff I have no probs at all...but good god you should se all the accidents that happen on a regular basis. I see at least 3 a week.
Thanks for the compliment on the pic ;)
First superbowl for me, but once I started to understand the rules it was actually a kickass sport to watch, better than soccer imo. Not that I'm a sports fanatic, but when you get some friends together and throw in some beer and chips it makes a nice party ;-)
Weird that there's still so many accidents, while you'd think people there would be used to driving in snow.. Then again, I don't think that's something you can ever really get used to, you just have to be really careful. No matter how much I love how snow looks, I hate to drive in it.
Oh man, some people either get entirely too confident or too chickenshit. Either way they ended up in the ditch.... I should start keeping an actual count of how many ditch divers I see. Hehe
My son moved to AK last August from NC. I spend a significant amount of time trying to imagine the AK winters...so beautiful, but so scary (a Mom's point of view). Your photography is gorgeous.
