Took the kids to go see the eagle rehabilitation cage on Elmendorf Airforce Base(seen in the back of the pic to the right), right next to it is the memorial for the AWACS airplane that crashed in 1995 killin 13 people(all military personnel) It hit a pack of geese and went down not far off the runway. AwacS is an acronym for Airborne Warning and Control System

As we got out into the car this morning(around 11 i think) The windows had some ice crystals that had formed the night before(clear nights are good for making these). Fletcher (my son) said that it looked like a bunch of little angels that had landed on the car.....Even tho i am no where near a religious person i thought it was pretty cool. So that's what i'm gonna call them.

Hogg Brothers Cafe, 10-23-05

Hogg Brothers, the best place in anchorage for sunday brunch... hands down. No place beats it to get the best food for the best price. The boy and i went there for a late breakfast.

This is what we got for about 15 bucks, Fletcher had a "kids breakfast" if that's what you wanna call it... damn thing was huge, and a hot chocolate. I had the ribeye and eggs with an ice tea.
Now that's one hell of an ice'd tea...

We stopped at Village Inn to have dinner, (much better than Denny's) fletcher polished off 2 full cups of Hot Chocolate. Notice the boy has a busted top lip, swing accident at school. Guess he was pushing someone and the swing kicked back and hit him in the lip.

Another sunrise on Cook Inlet, but this one was shot near the airport(usually i take the sunset pic's at the end of 5th street downtown). This pic was taken on 7-14-05 i never posted it because of the flare near the sun.

This is a panoramic view of the inlet the same night i took the pic's of the weeds. To the far right is Mt. Susitna(sleeping lady) It's supposed to take the form of a woman sleeping on her side, I never seem to be able to see it that way.
