Did not get any pictures today so i figured i'd show this program I found. The calander, the weather and the clock (tells me sunrise and sunset) are all part of this program. It's called The konfabulator. Pretty neat.

Fish Hatchery near Elmendorf Airforce Base, 7-27-05

They have a waterfall where they block the King Salmon as they go up stream (to collect them for milking), they also open it as a viewing area.

Left work early for a quick Dr. visit, after that I took Fletcher out to Eat at Pizza Hut, then to a movie (March of the Penguins). We had gotten to the theatre about an hour early so we killed some time playing video games untill we saw it was raining, then we went outside to play in it a bit. Guess who was having the time of his life... hehe

Sunset tonight @ Cook Inlet, 7-24-05

Went to the inlet at the end of 5th street tonight with my buddy Ross. Sunset was at around 10:58. The panoramic's i have of this are pretty neat, I just don't have time to post em.

On the road home from Kenai, 7-23-05

Of course we stopped on the way home to take a few pics ;) The pic on the bottom is a meadow entirely filed with Fireweed, looked really neat.

Dipnetting @ the mouth of the Kenai River with Harv, 7-23-05

We got to the river at about 7 or so, it was packed. For those of you who don't know what dipnettting is, it's where you take a large net on a long pole and stand in the water waiting for salmon to swim into it. My back was still hurt, so i did not fish at all, but i did hang out on the beach and collect the fish. It was a beautiful day... and as the tide went out it opened a very large section of beach to mess around on. I even got a little sunburnt on my face. Harv did all the catching and he caught about 30 fish in all.

On the road to Kenai(To go dipnetting), 7-23-05

We left for Kenai at about 4 in the morning, the trip takes about 3 1/2 hours going the speedlimit. We stopped quite a few times along the way to take pictures.

I did a have few pics for this day, but i was in a hurry to get packed and get outta town for the trip to kenai. First is of a tree that was eaten by ladybugs and their larva. The 3rd is a pic of the actual tree.
