Star Wars marathon, 5-30-05

We watched ALL of the Star Wars movies today, took like 16 hours total i think, including some downtime.. I am seriously all Star Wars'd out for a very long time. We even went to the theater to watch part 3 then back to the house to finish the rest. I took this pic from my roomates giant screen tv... camera caught the blank screen where there should be a bunch of mountains and fighting.

The top is Fletcher having his first bowl of reindeer sausage soup, holy hell i had a time explaining the whole "Rudolf thing" but hey, he order'd it. I know i put to damn many pics of the boy up... but, What the hell. haha. That flower on the bottom was behind him, in the pic above it..it was bigger than my head. We had a really good time untill we hit the art and Fletcher was instantly bored... ah well. heh

Fletcher said this was me driving a car, looks more like Alf on crack to me but I promised him i would take a picture of it hehe. He colors ALOT, i think he did 15 pictures today.

In front of our house, 5-27-05

Another moose today, this is directly in front of our door... about 4 feet away. As you can see... this one was possesed by a demon, and warned me to stay away by lighting it's eyes on fire and causing the earth to shake. But i had tricks of my own.. I raised my hand in a mystic palm and made shoo'ing noises till she walked away. My kung-fu is strong...

In front of our house, 5-26-05

We were out bbq'ing in front of the house when this guy walked up for a drink of water, my roomate pointed it out. I was concentrating on the bbq, hah. The mom walked up right after so i kept my distance. I've never seen one so small this guy must have only just been born a few days ago. I followed them for about 5 min's as they walked back into the woods... it was pretty neat :)

only had time to shoot some pics on base today, was a nice day... cloudy off and on. It even rained while the sun was shining. The very bottom pic is the housing area that i work on during the day.

Harv found this place near where he lives, I never knew it even existed. I am going back for a picnic with the boy this weekend and to get more pictures :)

Muldoon Road, 5-23-05

It rained like hell for about 15 minutes right after i got off work, then it quit. Thunder and lightning are fairly rare here in Anchorage, was nice to see/hear.

It rained the day before and everything was still kind of wet... i shot these thruout the day on the base.

Alaska Zoo, 5-22-05

Went to the zoo today, spent about 4 hours wandering... was a lot of fun. I have a ton more pics of being there... but i think i have already MORE than overdone it hehe. The snow leopard i actually shot thru a piece of glass, i tried to edit most of it out... think i did a pretty good job :) At the bottom Fletcher is staring at an empty tank, he stood there for 20 minutes just lookin at it... here's the messed up thing, all the animals before that tank i could not get him to stand still and look at for 1 minute and here he goes and stares at an empty godamn tank.. haha. At least he was being good ;)

Century 16 theater, 5-21-05

Star Wars day, a little cloudy and rainy... but i like it that way. We went here to see it, it was good. Not the bestest movie i have EVER seen but it was definitely a good movie. Went to a matinee to avoid the crowds and get cheaper prices ;) Check out how packed it was, ALL of the handicaps spaces are filled.

Ribeye steak, baked potato, and beans... good stuff. I missed posting this on the 18th, we drank a little and i spent the night at harv's heh..

Found all these bugs sunning themselves on the leaves of the trees in the left of the top picture, Hey look! 2 ladybugs wrestling... hehe
