I can see why you chose that one photo to post first. They all have excellent detail, but of the three, that one has (IMHO) the best composition.
The lighting and depth of field combine well to add more interest to the simple subject matter. I find it's very hard to get natural subjects to look good in black and white. You make it look easy.
Yeah, it's inspiring until you try it yourself. Then it just gets frustrating... :-S

Karen, I dunno about rock star but ima supahfreak /flex Yeah, i def thought the first one was better...
Skavenger, omg no, I could teach you everything that I know about camera's in about 5 min's. Then you'd be a supahfreak too....
These shots are really good Dave!! The water droplets are amazing!
do you have these in color ? all your pics are beautiful....i'd just like to see both to compare....
