Anyway.. mushroom season already Dave?
In the netherlands that starts in September with an high in October... Is it autumn already in Alaska?
When does your winter start?
Yum...my favorite...fried in a cast iron skillet with garlic butter on top of a grilled sirloin....*whew*
Marino, mushroom season actually started in the spring with morels... heh but I missed those then it ends for a bit and restarts about right now when the majority of the summer rains come, definatley not fall yet but real soon, there's always snow on the ground here by about halloween.
Dave, good stuff with steak!
