So what exactly is this cottonwood park? Excuse me if I'm missing the obvious here, I'm Dutch and all...
Anyway, your pictures are still amazing me!
Nope you're not missing a thing, I really should learn to elborate a bit more on these things, never have been much for words. Cottonwood park is one of the biggest most beautiful parks in the anchorage area, it's located on fort richardson army base... built for the military personnel and their familes. Since I work on fort rich I get to stop there during breaks and such to grab a few quick pictures. I do believe it's named for all the Cottonwood trees in the area(which most people hate because they release their seeds in this fluffy white cottony material that pretty much get's everywhere in the summer).
