The time stamp on your post is around 1a.m., which could only mean you're way into your craft or you've got insomnia--or both. Oh how I know the feeling, either way. Artists should automatically receive a discount on Ambien and, or, valerian root.

I like the contrast on the this one, but then I seem to like sharp contrasts. I've noticed some black and white's values tend to appear washed out unless I take time to set the camera properly (which I mostly don't but just started that). Do you remember or know what the particulars on this one was by chance? BTW, I have the crappiest quality of camera available (but I'm saving saving saving for a new one) and I've noticed my images, when enlarged, tend to distort really badly (read: crap crap crap). Do you know what they say about which cameras would be a good choice, brand wise, etc?

You're right, it's both... hah. Some nights I get about 4 hours sleep at the most, I start working on pictures the second I get hom untill about midnight or later most nights.

As for the settings, this pic was actually color, I used paintshop to turn it to B&W, and as for the camera deal, click on the link up at the top to see my camera... hah. A good camera, at a good price, I've seen 2 that I would get in a second if and when I can/could... the cannon rebel xt.. they had it at costco for 699 with 2 lenses. Or the nikon d70 with one lense. The nikon is 6 mp and the cannon is 8, so I'd probably get the connon if I could.
