It's past tomorrow and the next day, and well...a lot of days-JK man. I just wanted to say I will be in from time to time. I had a death in the family and have been out of it but I am trying to get back into the swing of things.

Like you, I also believe that great results can be achieved with a simple point-and-shoot camera. I’ve posted evidence of this on my site at http://david-mcmahon.blogspot.com/ and now I’ll have to dig out some of my Alaska shots for your benefit.
I often get asked by bloggers what camera they should use – and I always say they don’t need a $1000 camera to produce great photographs.
Pretty much the same rule goes for writing. You don’t need a state-of-the-art PC or laptop to write decent prose.
