Perfect timing if you ask me. I never though seagulls could look this pretty :)
Magpies rule all! ;-)
MINE! [/seagull]
I Like to call em mew. Meeuw is the dutch word. Mew sounds nicer.
And I don't think I ever saw a raven in the wild once :(
Magpies are here by the thousands, they are some mean sob's.. heh
Raven's too (not mean), sometimes they'll sit up high nearby and try to mimic the sounds of other animals, it's cool as hell.
Magpies like to sneak up to blackbirds, jump out and scare the hell out of them, just for fun. I actually saw that happen, and laughed my ass off! I'm telling you, if birds could laugh, we had both been ROFL'ing for at least an hour!
But the Netherlands is also quite magpie-infested, not that I mind...
Ravens are extremely rare in these regions. More proof of their intelligence I'd say ;-)
Dave, this is really nice. Very nice; great angle, timing, everything. I'd love to see this one in color if you have it.
This is *freaking* cool - the light through the wings and tail... lovely! (despite the fact that they're gulls) :P
Gyp, color one is up... not much of a differnce I don't think ;)
Heather, thanks again.
Jenn, i know what ya mean.
