A walk in the woods pt 2
Some of the feathers I found lying around the nest, of course I left them there because it's illegal to pick them up, omg. ;) You can see the nest up the tree in the background.
Here's one of the 2 Eagles from the nest, hopefully one of these days he'll let me get close enough to get a better shot.
This is the other one inside of the nest poking his or her head over the side to see what we were doing. (no worries on us bothering them they are in a high traffic area with jets that fly directly over their heads).

Magnificent creatures, really... Around here we only get the occasional buzzard and some tiny falcons or something... And cockatiels ofcourse, but they're indoors only :P
So now you're hunting wildlife 'eh? ;-)

i think i am happy we do not have any of the bald eagles here, they would be lost for good.
