Fort Richardson, 7-15-05
Wind brought smoke from a near by wildfire straight into anchorage, it was the worst i have seen in the 10 or so years i have been here, very thick... being at work was miserable. First pic is the way it looked today, second pic is for comparison. The third is a pic I took from an alaska fire advisory website. Below is taken from the anchorage daily news.

Smoke from a fast-growing wildfire on the south shore of Tustumena Lake is obscuring visibility in the Anchorage and Soldotna areas today, triggering health advisories from state air quality officials. Air quality is expected to grow worse into the weekend.
